our nation has long run on the definition of being socialist and democratic.the importance of these words is unaccountable in the contemporary era. in a democratic and socialist polity it's very important for people to know about thier rights and power. for a democracy to run efficiently people's awareness about the functioning of the system of governance is a must.we can ony achieve the real democracy only by bringing awareness among the people. if poeple have got enough knowledge and power it can help the country to eeradicate all of it's major problem like poverty,corruption ,caste politics and many more. .but how can we empower the citizens of our nation to achieve the set target of real democracy?the only solution to the problems is EDUCATION.
human beings are different from animals because of their brain...we dont have eyes like eagle,nose like dog,but what makes us superior from them is our mind...our knowledge...
we live in a country where more than 50% of the population is illiterate.these are simple beings who are just busy to earn thier daily bread.the bpl population makes up about 70% of the indian population.thier daily wages is below Rs. 50 per day.this is the substantial amount of people we have been missing in our democracy.they dont have enough to give their child a proper education...thus due to lack of proper education they are easily misleaded by politicians....just for the sake of 2 piece of bread they support a criminal politician,,,,they wre easily misguided...politicians persuade them and create problems between there own brothers and sisters,,,this leads to caste politics,poverty and many more problems... the main reason behind the high corruption in all department is illiteracy...
